Tokyo History
Prior to 1868, Tokyo was known as Edo. A small castle town in the 16th century, Edo became Japan´s political centre in 1603 when Tokugawa Ieyasu established his feudal government there.

Tokyo´s Transport
We travelled by airplane, in a Mexican airline called AeroMexico. We bought a ticket in 119,862 MXN, that are between 584,917 and 842,720 yens. When we arrived to Tokyo, we took a bus to the hotel.
Services operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government offer two kinds of one-day tickets: a ticket (500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children) which allows passengers to get on and off metropolitan buses as many times as they like all day long, and a ticket (700 yen for adults and 350 yen for children) which enables passengers to get on and off metropolitan busses, trains and subways as many times as they like all day long.

We stayed in the Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo. We enjoyed a lot that hotel because it was very luxury, the service was really good, the rooms were very nice, and the pool was beautiful.

Ginza
The Ginza is Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district
Sumida Aquarium
beautifully designed modern aquarium houses over 10,000 sea creatures on the 5th and 6th floors the entrance costs
Tokyo Imperial Palace
The current Imperial Palace is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo

It exhibits and preserves a few thousand tree and plant species and includes a beautiful Japanese landscape garden.
We had beautiful experiences in the Botanical Garden and we enjoyed a lot the variety of the places that we visit.
Tokyo´s Restaurant
The restaurants that are that most popular in Tokyo are:
Esaki: This restaurant is located in a residential area of the city.
Fukamachi: In this restaurant the chefs prepare with a lot of care using high quality ingredients.
Ginza Okamoto: They prepare with a modern style tun the other restaurants and with a good quality.
Kanda: This restaurant is in a residential apartment block, and you can watch the chefs making the food.
Kondo: In this the most food that cook is light, almost cook with the best ingredients that they can find.
Our Experience
Our experiences were as we expected from Tokyo, the hotel had a good atmosphere also it was
big, the room was very comfortable the view was incredible because we could see all the city.
The food was delicious and the restaurants were very awesome because they had a theme of the
old Tokyo when the samurais still existed.
The transport was very clean and fast also the people has very good manners, they respect the
rules, and even the train station was very clean!
